* Entertainment In Rome *
* By Michael J. Wilson @1994 *
******************************
The program is mainly self-explanatory, but I`ll explain it anyway.
To load, simply click on the Rome icon. After the intro credits, you will
be presented with a requester screen. Click the OK box, and you will be
presented with a map of ancient Rome. Click the left button on any of the
four coloured buildings to select a topic. The relevant presentation will
then be loaded. Each one consists of several screens, each with several
paragraphs of acompanying text. Use the up and down arrows at the bottom
of the screen to move through the presentation (down=forwards, up=backwards
). Some screens have animation or other effects. You will be returned to
the map at the end of the presentation. To exit to Workbench, click both
mouse buttons at once on the map screen.
This is the shareware version, so please note that the multiple-choice
tests have not been included. To obtain this facility, as well as a copy of
the Dragon Compilation or Technology In Ancient Rome (which will appear
as Shareware at around November/December 1994) you should register as
detailed below. Please remember that a lot of work went into this program
and that if you use it you should really register anyway. The AMOS source
code is also available (please state what you want when registering) and
is designed to be adaptable, so if you want you can use it in your own
multi-media productions. The IFF graphics files on this disk are copyright
and must not be used individually unless you register.
To register - send 5 pounds (sterling) and your adress to:
115 Nash Grove Lane, Wokingham, Berkshire, England. RG11 4HG
(If you have any inquiries you can ring 0734-789229 after 5pm). MJW`94
